Last week saw the launch of the Clean Hydrogen Mission, a new global coalition to support the clean hydrogen economy as part of Mission Innovation. The goal of the Clean Hydrogen Mission is to reduce the costs of clean hydrogen to the end user to 2 dollar per kilogram by 2030 and to deliver at least 100 large-scale integrated hydrogen valleys worldwide, with many of these likely to be located in ports and harbours.

Our second webinar in this HTP series includes a great line-up of speakers, with the opening keynote by Mirela Atanasiu of the FCH JU. Our speakers will provide insights about developing hydrogen valleys based on practical experience from the FCH JU supported BIG HIT, HEAVENN, and GREEN HYSLAND projects.

This HTP2 webinar takes place on Wednesday 16 June using Zoom, and the event recording with speaker slides will be circulated after the event to all registered participants. Please do share this invitation with your network, all are welcome to attend.

HTP2: Building your Hydrogen Valley project ideas and consortium partners

This HTP2 webinar will cover key aspects of building your Hydrogen Territory / Hydrogen Valley ideas and turning them into a project plan. It will also provide experiences from previous projects about putting together a consortium of suitable partners. This event will be of interest to anyone who is developing their own Hydrogen Valley or Hydrogen Territory project. It will provide insights and lessons learned from the BIG HIT, HEAVENN, and GREEN HYSLAND projects, three of the leading FCH JU supported hydrogen valleys across Europe.

These HTP webinars are a key part of the Orkney BIG HIT project dissemination activities in the lead up to the final BIG HIT project conference, which is planned to take place in mid-April 2022 in Orkney. We’re hoping our final conference can be run as a real in-person event, further details will follow as we get the arrangements in place.
