Green Hysland wins two Prizes at the RENMAD Awards
On the 8th of February in Zaragoza, Spain, the project was selected as winner in two categories: H2 project of the year and Renewable H2 Innovation of the Year.

RENMAD Hidrógeno is the meeting place of the main companies and institutions that are shaping the renewable hydrogen industry in Spain and Portugal. Organised by ATA Insights, it brings together +400 high-level executives from all parties involved in the value chain and +60 expert speakers.
Their 2023 event took place on 8-10 February 2023 in Zaragoza, Spain and was co-hosted by the Aragon government and the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation (FHa). 2023 also saw the creation of the RENMAD H2 Awards. The Awards recognised projects and individuals in 5 different categories. The winners were disclosed during the Award Ceremony which took place on the 8th of February evening:
- H2 Project of the Year: Green Hysland;
- Hydrogen Promoter of the Year: Repsol Hydrogen;
- Renewable H2 Innovation of the Year: Green Hysland;
- Electrolyzer Manufacturer of the Year: Siemens Energy;
- Lifetime Achievement Award: José Arturo Aliaga López, Vice President of the Gobierno de Aragón – Government of Aragon;
- Woman in renewable H2 of the Year: Marta Margarit, Board of Directors Chairwoman at Enagas.
I am thrilled to accept these two RENMAD Awards on behalf of the Green Hysland consortium. We started working on this project over 4 years ago with a very ambitious idea. But thanks to the cooperation and commitment from all partners, not only did we make it happen, we also made it a success.
