The H2EBRO Corridor is a benchmark for developing this renewable energy and leading the deployment of the renewable hydrogen value chain in Southern Europe in order to generate sustainable value in the form of environmental, social and economic benefits. It is a pioneering project of multi-sectoral public-private cooperation that takes advantage of the synergies and complementarities existing between the different territories to carry out the decarbonization of the economy and transport, as well as to enhance the development of local technological and industrial capabilities.

This ambitious project was born in Zaragoza on April 4, 2022, at the headquarters of the Government of Aragon. Representatives of the governments of Catalonia, the Basque Country, Aragón and Navarre signed, together with the SHYNE Initiative, the public-private collaboration protocol to advance along the path of sustainability towards a zero-emission economy through a coordinated action that allows the industrial and technological capabilities of the energy and industrial sectors to be put to good use.

A year later, the web space https://ebroh2corridor.com/ is now available to promote and disseminate the actions and initiatives of the H2EBRO Corridor and its agents, in order to make known the progress of this initiative.

The information will be offered in the languages of the participating territories: Catalan, Basque, Spanish and additionally English, both to give visibility to the project in our European environment and to promote the international projection of the corridor, its agents and the actions they undertake.

At this initial phase, you will find general and basic information about the H2EBRO Corridor, such as its objectives, indicators and the value chain. The aim is to make it a dynamic and lively space that also serves to promote collaborations and identify internal and external synergies. The partnership will move forward to enrich this communication space as new actions and proposals are launched.
