More than 200 attendees from 95 leading European organisations in the energy sector attended EPRI European Workshop Week (14-16 March in Vienna, Austria), with lively discussions on the solutions to address the energy transition taking place during the three days.

The session ‘Accelerating renewable hydrogen implementation’ brought together different stakeholders in the sector that share lessons learned from ongoing projects, and analyzed challenges with a focus on the future opportunities that this area will bring.

Green Hysland’s coordinator Carlos Navas (Enagás Renovable) was present to present the project and interact with participants.

To establish a successful Hydrogen Valley, it is necessary to ensure a good level of leadership from the private sector but also public support from the authorities. The entire value chain should be on board – from electricity production all the way to final uses, and demand also has to be well-anchored to fill actual needs.
